An Email Template is an email sent to participants based on specific dates or specific actions participants take. There are two methods of creating an Email Template. You can select your method based on whether you need the Email Template attached to an Application(s) or to an Email Kit that will be added to Events.

1. Applications (ex: email sent after someone takes a Survey)

  • Log in to Banzai Virtual (formerly High Attendance) as an Event Admin.

  • Hover over Event Admin (stack of papers icon) and click Templates and Email Kits.

  • Select Email Templates tab.

  • Click +Add New in the upper right corner.

  • Under the Settings tab, fill out all required fields.

  • Attach your template to desired Applications.

  • Under the Content tab, add your email body copy.

  • If using HTML, you can make edits using the Advanced HTML Editor Type.

  • Click Save.

Note: When you edit an Email Template, the changes will be applied to all emails sent based on the Application(s) to which you have attached it.

2. Email Kit (ex: a handful of emails that are specific to an Event)

  • Log in to Banzai Virtual (formerly High Attendance) as an Event Admin.

  • Hover over Event Admin (stack of papers icon) and click Templates and Email Kits.

  • Select Email Kits tab.

  • Click Add New+ in the upper right corner.

  • Under the Basics tab, fill out required fields.

  • Under the HTML Content tab, enter your email body copy.

  • Under the Schedule tab, select your Schedule Type and fill out the required fields.

  • Click Save.

Note: You can also create an Email Kit with Email Templates when creating or editing a specific Event. These Email Kits will only be found within that event and will not be saved at the company level.
