A Scratch Game is a type of Game Application that your event attendees can play in order to try to win a prize while at the same time giving your team valuable information about them and their potential interest in your product. Players will first enter information into a form and then use their cursor to “scratch” and reveal a prize image that you define when creating the Scratch Game Application.

Below are instructions on how to create and customize a Scratch Game for your next event:

  • Log in to Banzai Virtual (formerly High Attendance) as an Event Admin

  • Hover over the Event Admin icon on the far left side and select Applications

  • Click Add New+

  • Select Scratch Game from the Type dropdown

There are 4 tabs to go through in order to complete setup.

1. Basic

  • Attach the Game Application to the proper Event(s) by clicking the check boxes on the far left side of the Events table. Note: You must create the Event you need this application for first so that it shows up in this table as an option.

  • Add a screensaver for your Scratch Game.

  • If you’d like to customize your Scratch Game page, use the CSS Editor.

2. Email and Notifications

  • Select Email Kit to send emails that notify players of what they won.

  • Form Fields

  • This is where you define the information you want to gather before notifying players of what they won.

  • Delete or edit form fields as needed.

  • Click Add New Field+ in the bottom right corner to add additional fields.

3. Customize

  • Upload a background image, a custom-header, and/or other media (like a song to be played during the game).

  • Add custom messages and configure the game odds and/or the chances of winning prizes.

After you click Save you will be directed to the Application Overview page.

  • Click on the preview (screen) icon in the Action column to preview the Scratch Game.

  • To edit the application, click the blue edit icon in the Action column.
